BBQ Grilled Chicken

Preparation 5 to 10 minutes, plus marinating

Cook 8 minutes

Makes 2 to 4 portions

Suitable for freezing. Not suitable for reheating.

For the marinade

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon maple syrup

¼ teaspoon soy sauce

2 or 3 drops Worcestershire sauce

¼ pound chicken tenders or boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 4 strips

salt and pepper, to season

In the summer you can cook the marinated chicken on the barbecue. Personally, I prefer to use chicken on the bone for outdoor grilling, as it remains more moist. Just make sure that the chicken is thoroughly cooked. You can always strip the flesh from the bone before serving.
